Chinese Herbal Medicine

Ludwig graduated from the University of Maryland - College Park with a B.A. in Psychology in 1998.  He earned his Masters Degree in Acupuncture from the Tai Sophia Institute in 2006.  He then continued for over 2 years studying Chinese Herbal Medicine with Cara Frank at the Tai Sophia Institute and received his Certificate in Chinese Herbs in 2007.  Ludwig loves how Chinese Medicine focuses on the physical body, emotions, mind, and the Spirit of a being, not just on one single piece, we are whole.

Ludwig has worked in the Addictions and Mental Health field for the past 9 years.  He leads educational groups on Addictions and Mental Health concerns with adults and adolescents, focusing on adolescent development. Ludwig has treated many people for symptoms of addictions, depression, and especially anxiety.  And been able to help people reduce their need for medications, safely, through partnership with ones physicians.

Ludwig has been working with adolescents for the past 7 years as well.  Focusing on ways to treat illness and dis-ease without the use of medications.  With early intervention through Acupuncture and Chinese Herbs, most adolescents have not needed to take pharmaceutical medications.  There are many concerns that adolescents grow through, acupuncture is one tool to serve them through all of this.  Symptoms of anxiety, anger, depression, PTSD, emotional or mood disorders are just a few issues that Ludwig has helped treat through Chinese Medicine and lifestyle choices.

Ludwig has been very successful in treating people for symptoms of Restless Leg, Chronic Fatigue, Allergies, Auto-Immune Disorders, Digestive Disorders, Anger, Anxiety, Depression, Insomnia, Carpal Tunnel, Addictions, Migraines, Any PAIN Disorder, PTSD, Gynecological Disorders, and feelings of being Lost.  Please help me to add on to this list.  I believe Chinese Medicine can help treat everything.

Ludwig has studied Aikido and Aikijujitsu for over 15 years, earning the level of Nidan (2nd Degree Black Belt).  He currently studies Tai Chi and Ba Gua also, and practices many forms of Qi Gong to cultivate wellness and health.

He thoroughly enjoys spending his off days with his 3 year old and 3 month old.  During what free time he may have, he continues to cultivate his knowledge and practical skills from the infinite wisdom that Chinese Medicine has to offer.

Please feel free to call Ludwig on his mobile phone at 301-996-7070 or leave a message on the office phone for him.

He’s happy to have a conversation with you about any and all concerns you may have.

Timothy Fitzsimmons, M.Ac., L.Ac.

Timothy earned his Masters in Acupuncture from the Tai Sophia Institute in Columbia, MD in 2006.  Timothy loves treating people with acupuncture.  He started receiving acupuncture himself over a dozen years ago for the management of stress and anxiety.  He became such a believer on how his life changed for the better that he declared at that time that he wanted to learn how to become an acupuncturist so he could give to others what he had received: a new way of seeing life.  He feels that learning simple ways to take care of one’s emotional, physical, and spiritual being can open up a person to new possibilities on how they want to live their lives without dark clouds, sleepless nights, and the constant daily pain.

He has extensive experience in a wide range of conditions, including migraines, depression, anxiety, digestive disorders, immune disorders, allergies, localized pain disorders, chronic fatigue, menopausal symptoms, addictions, and carpal tunnel symptoms.

Call Timothy.  He is waiting to meet you and see how your life will change with an acupuncture treatment today.
